~About Me~

As my signature indicates, I’m Jean 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Truth is very important to me. I won’t lie to someone just to make them feel better or because a specific response is expected. If the truth hurts, I will be as gentle about it as possible. For my words to be meaningful, they must be true. I want people to be able to trust me to tell them the truth. The Creator blessed me with life and joy everlasting when I became a believer by putting my faith in Him as my Savior and accepting His gift of complete salvation. I could not exist without Him; He gets me through each day.

A Few More Things About Me:

I’m Tsalagi/Cherokee.

This girl loves music! Gene Autry, Big Time Rush, Bruce & Terry, Van Cliburn, Wayne Newton, Elvis Presley, Paul Revere & the Raiders (Paul Revere, Mark Lindsay, Mike “Smitty” Smith, Drake Levin and Phil “Fang” Volk – check them out on YouTube!), Jr. Walker & The All Stars, Paul Revere’s Raiders (Darren Dowler, Ron Foos, Doug Heath, Danny Krause, Jamie Revere and Tommy Scheckel! 🙂 ), Andre Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra, Roy Rogers, The Ventures, Walela (“Cherokee Morning Song”) and Clint Walker are some of the artists I especially like.

I enjoy reading and writing stories that have good humor, true love, wisdom, intelligence, mystery, adventure, kissing, fun, etc.

There are no cuss words in my people’s original language and I try to keep to that.

I see no good point in being cranky. It only makes you feel worse and makes those around you miserable, too. So why do it?

I love tacos. I have always loved tacos.

~About My Blog~

I had an idea, a unique one. It is unlike anything I have seen or read before, so much so that I coined a new phrase to describe it: “Living Article”©. No, it doesn’t literally breathe or have a soul, but it isliterarily a living thing – it is inspired (to inspire is to “breathe”) and good music has soul. To describe it further, it isn’t merely a one-shot article that lasts the literary reading equivalent of the freshness of bagels. This is a continuing, flourishing article that doesn’t end. Each new part (installment) will show up as a new blog post – although it is one continual article, in essence. (You can also find quick access to specific posts by checking out my “Article Subjects & Linkspage.)

My Living Article© will feature reviews and information on music by various artists from varying genres. I enjoy listening to a wide range of music – hot-off-the-press as well as from previous months and years. It will be fun to see which song gets featured in each installment! This continuing series is planned to include interesting topics such as: reviews of the artist’s/group’s albums, their exclusive/concert-only songs, cover songs, worldwide concert performances, things that are the same – or different – between their studio album and their live performances of those same songs (this is very cool stuff), behind-the-scenes type of things, and other related information that is cool to know!

My words are my own, but I hereby recognize the respected ownership of the artists’ own names and of those who own or have authored the group names, stage names, song/album/tour titles, music and so forth. To the best of my knowledge, everything in my article is true. If your music is featured and you find something incorrect, please kindly contact me and I’ll gladly tend to it. 🙂

What you won’t find in my Living Article©: I give you my word that there won’t be any profanity; I respect and love the Creator too much to use His Name disrespectfully. You also won’t find any hardcore cussing in my writing; I find that thoughts can be conveyed clearly and strongly without the use of unnecessary language. Nor will you find here any reviews or information on any songs that are labeled “explicit” by their publishers. I cannot review what I have not listened to and I have no desire to listen to any type of hate music, so you won’t find any of that here, either. Music encourages and inspires us – for good or for bad. I choose for good; I hope you do, too. 🙂

Please feel free to post any good comments of your own at the bottom of each part of the Living Article©, while keeping in mind consideration for others and their intellectual property. Thanks! 🙂

May 8th, 2017: I just now added a page for my short stories. There are three on there now and I will be adding more. Please check them out if you like. 🙂 I hope you enjoy each of them. 🙂 You tap on this link to get there: Jean247’s Short Stories

  1. Awesome and beautiful, Jean! 🙂 So impressed. Supercool that we like a lot of the same artists. I’d like to say also, that honesty is very much appreciated. Nice. 🙂

What kind of tacos do you like best? 🙂

    1. Thank you, Hardy Sleuth! 🙂 I think that’s really cool, too. 😎 I’m glad. 🙂

I haven’t tried every kind yet, but I love the ones I have had! 🙂

      1. 🙂 Yep! 🙂

Are you going to try every kind? o_O I sure wouldn’t! 😛 Have you had tacos without cheese, like with a vegetable mix and chicken or something like that? 🙂

        1. No, not every kind – only the ones that will fit within my taste, what I consider food, parameters. 😛 That sounds like something I should try! 🙂

            1. 😆 Thanks! 🙂 Absolutely not. o_O I wouldn’t even offer them to you, Hardy Sleuth – that’s not food. 🙂

Back to what is food – tacos! – I tried a new taco combination for my midnight snack (why not? 😛 ) the other night: grilled chicken strips, rice, and taco sauce! 🙂 It was delicious! 😀

              1. I know you wouldn’t because you’re my friend and you wouldn’t do that to me! 😉 😛 😀

Mmmmmmm, sounds good! 🙂 I’ve had a similar thing with soft tacos/tortillas. Yummy! 😀 I’ve been anxious to get back here and check out your blog some more, plus I had another taco comment and question. What do you think about Choco Tacos? 😀 They not only have a great name, I mean really, it’s fun to say!, but also, they’re delicious, kosher, and you can get them at Walmart or various grocery stores. 😀

                1. That’s right! 😉 🙂

It was! 🙂 Cool! 🙂 Thank you for coming! 🙂 I think they sound great; that’s true! 😀 Thanks, yes I’ve seen them in the store. I think I will probably make some sometime – every taco I eat is homemade. How about you? 🙂

                  1. 😀

Yep! 🙂 That would be cool to make some. I’ve never actually eaten a taco out before. 😛 We make them at home with already made tacos or tortillas. Delicious! 🙂 I think it would be cool to bake our own tortillas. Might try that some time. 🙂

                    1. Cool! 😀 Good idea! 🙂 I prefer home-made/home-cooked foods 🙂 – that way I know exactly what I’m eating. 😀 If I’m out and about, I usually take food with me or stop at a grocery store. The only nationwide restaurant I have found to be consistently clean (no matter where it is) and that always has tasty, identifiable food is Chick-fil-A. 🙂 They have a lot of funny commercials and advertisements, too! 😆

  5. Why am I just now seeing your articles about “The Worlds Greatest Show band”, as Paul Schaffer describes them? I am “the kind soul” who videoed the concert, with the goal of promoting the band. My screen name is Raider Rooter and you can view other rare Raider videos on my Raider Rooter 1967 YouTube Channel. Some of my YouTube posts are cut and edited due to Copyright restrictions. So, I started a Group on Facebook called Raider Rooter. Present and former Raiders view the group page and stop by occasionally. Since the Raider Rooter Facebook Group is a “private educational/ historical” group, so far we have been able to post FULL SHOWS of WTAI, Happening, Hullabaloo, and other Raider performances including live TV performances from the sixties to present day. Hope you, and all Raider Fans will join us. It’s free but we have popup questions to weed out spammers, scammers, and fans of the football team. 🙂 I would like your permission to share your posts to the Raider Rooter Group. Please email me at the link below. Sincerely, Raider Rooter. RaiderRooter1967@Gmail.com
